Why are the times different from my masjid?

Masjids often publish start times with a few minutes of precaution and set fixed congregation (iqamah) times. Methods also differ in the sun angle used for Fajr and Isha. Choose the method your masjid uses in the settings, and follow your masjid for congregation.

Which calculation method should I choose?

Use the one your local masjid or national authority uses. We pre-select the usual local method for each country: Diyanet in Turkey, Kemenag in Indonesia, JAKIM in Malaysia, Umm al-Qura in Saudi Arabia, ISNA in North America and so on.

What is the difference between standard and Hanafi Asr?

Standard Asr begins when an object's shadow equals its length (plus its noon shadow); Hanafi Asr begins when the shadow is twice the length. Hanafi Asr is later, often by 30 to 80 minutes.

Is my location stored?
